Detroi-Art is a conclusive art program provided by Art by SEWD and based in Detroit. We know our way around the art world and have experience working with many different types of clients. Our goal is to connect people with art through our exhibitions, which we believe can be a powerful tool for self-expression, appreciation, and education. At Detroi-Art, we are committed to bringing art to the community and making it accessible to everyone. We feel that art is a powerful tool that can help inspire change and bring people together.
We believe that art can be used to promote diversity and inclusion, as well as improve mental health, reduce crime rates, and increase property values. That's why we've created community-based programs designed to help make these goals a reality!
Our Programs
At Detroi-Art we offer inclusive programs for people with a variety of skill levels that welcome all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. At Detroi-Art we want all of our community members to discover their creative side! Our programs give you the chance to learn about art and culture, and experience the arts first-hand through workshops and activities.
Art Workshops
We offer free workshops on different aspects of art like watercolor painting, oil painting, sketching, etc., where we teach basic techniques to children, youth, and adults alike. These workshops help people understand their creativity better and encourage them to express themselves through various forms of expression.
Community Arts Studio
A space where artists can create, collaborate and share their work. This program also offers workshops so that people can learn new skills and develop practical skills to support their career goals.
Educational Programs
We offer several educational programs for youth who are interested in art or want to gain skills for a future career in the arts industry.
